Gold appears to be scarce in WoW Forever. Players need more money than in classic vanilla because of new professions, recipes, enchantments, armor kits, and other expenses. A level 40 mount still costs 100 gold, making reliable income especially important. During the beta, traditional farming often felt inefficient. Farming spiders and wolves in Duskwood for Lean Wolf Flanks and Spider Silk produced only about 1 gold and 50 silver after an hour.
The video presents two crafting methods that require limited preparation and can be completed with a main character or an alt. These strategies are designed for players who want to earn WOW Forever Gold while spending very little time actively playing.
Method One: Enchanting Linen Pants
The first method requires Enchanting. If your main character does not have the profession, an alt can be used. The process begins at the Auction House, where Linen Cloth is purchased for approximately 82 copper per piece. In the example, enough cloth was bought to craft 63 pairs of brown linen pants.
The Linen Cloth was turned into bolts, and inexpensive Coarse Thread was added to complete the crafts. After disenchanting the 63 pants, the result included 26 Lesser Magic Essences and a large amount of Strange Dust. Armor items generally produce more dust than essences.
Players with less than 70 Enchanting should first craft the normal items until reaching that skill level. Afterward, greater magical variants can be crafted and sold to a vendor for approximately 15 silver each. Smaller variants may only break even.
Strange Dust can be sold through the Auction House for about 2 silver and 45 copper. However, crafting Minor Wizard Oils may provide better returns. Each oil requires one Maple Seed, costing about 2 silver, and one Empty Vial, costing approximately 4 copper. The video reports a profit of around 3 silver per Strange Dust. The oils can then be sold directly to a vendor.
The first test produced nearly 3 gold in approximately 45 minutes. Buying cloth rolls directly from the Auction House may save time. Auctionator is recommended because it scans the Auction House and displays total crafting costs. Method Two: Blacksmithing Heavy Copper Maces
The second strategy uses Blacksmithing to craft Heavy Copper Maces. These level 11 weapons sell to a vendor for 6 silver or can be disenchanted for one or two Greater Magic Essences.
Each mace requires 12 Copper Bars, two Light Leather, and two Weak Flux. The most important factor is the Copper Bar price. The total crafting cost should remain below 20 silver per mace. A cost of 17 silver is ideal, while 18 or 19 silver may still generate profit.
The video reports approximately 5 gold after the first hour. When Copper Bars and Light Leather became cheaper, earnings increased to around 5–7 gold per hour. Cheap Copper Ore can also be smelted personally, and Deadmines smelting pans reduce smelting time by 25%.
Mailing Warning and Final Results
A mailing bug caused three full packages sent to an alt to disappear, resulting in an estimated loss of 11 gold. Test the mailbox carefully and avoid sending large stacks until the issue is resolved.
Together, these methods can level Enchanting to about 150 and Blacksmithing to around 120 while generating cheap WOW Forever Gold for mounts, recipes, and profession upgrades.
